Isabelle Gélinas (born October 13, 1963 in Montreal ) is a Canadian - French actress .

Life

Isabelle Gélinas studied acting at both the Cours Florent and the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique . She was tutored among others by Pierre Vial , Daniel Mesguich and Michel Bouquet . She then played theater and made her debut as a film actress in the 1985 television film La Dixième de Beethoven , a film adaptation of the play Beethoven's tithe written by Peter Ustinov . She then acted as Viviane in Philippe de Broca's historical film Chouans! - With revolution and passion in her first movie. For her third film role in Patrice Ambard's drama Suivez cet avion , she was nominated for a César in 1990 as best young actress.
