Isabelle de Valvert

Isabelle de Valvert (also: Isabel de Valvert ; * 1951 ) is a French pop and jazz singer who was also active as an actress in the 1970s .

Life

The dark-skinned French woman is the daughter of the big band leader Félix Valvert and the singer Christiane Terosiet alias Stella Félix .

In February 1973 she had her picture taken for Playmen magazine . Appeared in several Italian films in the 1970s. She made her film debut as a murder victim, a drug addict African American tourist, in Gianni Buffardi's thriller Number One . This was followed by the role of the prisoner Isabelle in Revolt in the Women's Prison (Prigione di donne) . Her best-known film role is that of Haydée in David Greene's 1974 film adaptation of the Count of Monte Christo alongside Richard Chamberlain , with which she ended her cinematographic career again.

As a singer, she brought out the single Mami and Daddy with Polydor in 1977 . Then she turned back to jazz singing, which she mastered in six languages. It often occurs in the Far East; so z. B. 2004 at the Emporium Music No.6 Festival in Hanoi .

In 2001 she published her father's biography.
