Isaki Lacuesta (* 1975 in Girona , Catalonia , Spain ) is a Spanish film director .

Life

Lacuesta was born into a family of Basque origin. He studied audiovisual communication at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and obtained his master's degree in documentary film from the University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona , where he now teaches documentary film. He also teaches at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​the Universidad Pompeu Fabra, the Center d'estudis cinematogràfics de Catalunya (CECC) and the University of Girona .
