Isao Miyoshi

Isao Miyoshi ( Japanese 三好 功 郎 , Miyoshi Isao ; * around 1970) is a Japanese jazz guitarist .

Isao Miyoshi played in the Japanese jazz scene from the late 1980s; The first recordings were made in 1990 with Hiroshi Itaya & Guilty Physic, a recording from the Tokyo jazz club Pit Inn ( Shake You Up ). In the following years he worked a. a. with Shin'ichi Katō , Kurumi Shimizu and with Kōichi Matsukaze (album Mangekyō ( 万 華 鏡 , German "kaleidoscope")). For the label Paddle Wheel he recorded his debut album Sankichi-ism with Benisuke Sakai and Shuichi Murakami in 1995 , followed by the album Your Smile in 1998 , on which he played in a quartet with Toots Thielemans , Daryl Hall and Akira Tana . During this time he also took part in the recordings of Kazutoki Umezu and Masahiko Osaka ( Black Box ); in the field of jazz, Tom Lord lists him in nine recording sessions between 1990 and 1997. In 2003 he presented the album Suprise , most recently My Holiday .
