Isla Mágica is a seasonal amusement and theme park in Spain that opened in Seville in 1997 and has had its own water park since 2014.

history

Opened in 1997, Isla Mágica amusement park is located on the former site of the Expo 92 world exhibition on the island of La Cartuja in the Spanish city ​​of Seville . Construction of the amusement park began in 1995. Two years later the park was completed and was officially opened and inaugurated by Juan Carlos I on June 28, 1997 .

The amusement park consists of seven different themed areas, including: Puerto de Indias, Puerta de América, La Guarida de los Piratas, El Dorado, La Fuente de la Juventud, Amazonia and the Agua Magica - there are numerous attractions, shows and demonstrations, events or find rides. The park offers a total of around 25 rides.

The amusement park Isla Mágica was last sold on January 8, 2013 by the Spanish Caixabank to the French amusement park chain Looping Group , which still operates the park to this day.

Agua Magica water park

In July 2014, the amusement park Isla Mágica opened its new park-owned water park on the park area called Agua Mágica .
