The Islet Point ( English for island headland is) a headland on the north coast of South Georgia . It is located on the east side of the entrance to Carlita Bay , a side bay of Cumberland West Bay . Carlita Island is immediately in front of it .
The headland's name first appeared on a British Admiralty map in 1929 . The offshore island is probably the name given to it.
