The Islote Tigre is a small island off the Loubet coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It lies in the rejuvenation of the Barlas Canal between Adelaide Island and Sorge Island .
Argentine scientists named it after the whaler Tigre , who was used in the Argentine-Brazilian War in 1827 .
