The Liebenberg ruins are the ruins of a castle in the west of the village of Liebenberg in the market town of Ludweis-Aigen in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .
In a document, Otto von Liebenberg was named with the castle in 1175. A towering remnant of a quarry stone wall has been preserved from the former castle complex.
A connection between the Liebenberg ruins and the somewhat distant house mountain complex with the Liebenberg chapel is still unclear.
