Isolde Heyne
Isolde Heyne (born July 4, 1931 in Prödlitz near Aussig , Czechoslovakia as Isolde Heldmann ; † November 20, 2009 in Leipzig ) was a German author of young adult books.
Life
After the expulsion of the German population of the Sudetenland in 1945 came Isolde Heyne with her family to Saxony and lived until she moved in 1979 to the Federal Republic of Germany in the GDR.
She studied from 1961 to 1964 at the Johannes R. Becher Literature Institute in Leipzig . In addition to radio plays, theater plays and television plays, she has written numerous novels for young people, not infrequently with female main characters.
