István Németh

István Németh (* 1958 in Hungary ) is a German ballet master and choreographer .

Németh began his dance career in Hungary at the age of ten. In 1980 he passed his diploma examination as a dancer and ballet master at the Budapest State Academy of Dance and also in choreography with distinction. First he worked at the Győr Dance Theater , where he choreographed for Nicolas Schöffer . Together with the Győr Ballet Ensemble, he danced in numerous leading roles in numerous international capitals, including at the Richard Wagner Festival . From 1986 to 1995 Németh was engaged as a solo dancer and choreographer at the Städtische Bühnen Augsburg (later: Theater Augsburg ). Today he works in Augsburg as ballet director, ballet master and choreographer together with his wife, the prima ballerina Natalie Böck-Németh at the 1995 jointly founded ballet and musical academy in the Glaspalast Augsburg . In order to promote young talent even more intensively, István Németh founded the school's ballet company .
