Isvatnet ( Norwegian for ice lake ) is a lake on the Princess Astrid Coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It is located in the northeast of the Schirmacher Oasis .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1973.
