Itzhak Shum

Itzhak Shum ( Hebrew יצחק שום) (Born September 1, 1948 in Chișinău ) is a former Israeli soccer player . Shum currently works as a football manager and coach .

Life

Among other things, he played for the Israeli national soccer team and took part in the 1970 soccer world championship with them. In the 2003/2004 season Shum was the coach of the Greek first division club Panathinaikos Athens and led the team to the championship. On October 4, 2004, Shum resigned from office. In 2005 he worked in Russia as the head coach of the first division club Alania Wladikawkas .

Since 2007 Shum has been training the winner of the 2007 Israeli championship, Beitar Jerusalem .
