Ivan Carlos Batista Rubim (born August 5, 1973 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a former Brazilian soccer player .
Career
Ivan grew up in Rio de Janeiro and started playing football with Flamengo Rio de Janeiro in his youth . After five years in the youth teams of Flamengo, Ivan moved to Olaria AC , where he was active for the first time in the professional field. The Brazilian finally went to Belgium via Bonsucesso FC, where he was active for KSV Temse and AC Hemptinne-Eghezee . But a year later, Ivan went back to South America, but to Ecuador. But in the same season, the attacker returned to his home country, where he played for five different clubs from 1997 to 2001 until he moved back to Europe. This time to the Stuttgarter Kickers in the third-class Regionalliga Süd . After three seasons, however, Ivan went back to his homeland, where he ended his career in 2008.
