Ivan Fanelli

Ivan Fanelli (born October 13, 1978 in Bari ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Ivan Fanelli began his career in 2003 with the Polish cycling team Amore & Vita-Beretta . In his second season there he was able to win a stage in the Giro d'Abruzzo . In 2005 he drove one season for Team LPR before returning to Amore & Vita. There he was able to win a stage in the Vuelta a Extremadura . In 2007 and 2008 he drove for the Italian Continental Team Cinelli-Endeka-OPD . In 2007 he won two stages at the Giro d'Abruzzo, came second in the overall standings and two stages on the Tour of Serbia . In his last year in international cycling, 2008, he won stages of the Istrian Spring Trophy , the Tour of Morocco and Mexico .

Fanelli is the younger brother of Antonio Fanelli , who was also a professional cyclist. He is also the brother of cyclist Timothy Jones of Zimbabwe .
