Ivan Radeljić (born September 14, 1980 in Imotski , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player ( central defender ). Radeljić has both Bosnian and Croatian citizenship.
Club career
Radeljić came from NK Imotski to the Croatian top club Hajduk Split in 2000 . After he could not prevail in the first year in the first team, he was awarded for the 2001/02 season to HNK Šibenik . Also in the following season he could not finally prevail at Split and moved to Inter Zaprešić after the season . Apart from a brief stint in the Japanese J. League at Cerezo Osaka , he stayed with the northern Croatian club until December 2005. In the winter break of the 2005/06 season he moved from Zaprešić to NK Slaven Belupo . With Belupo he was Croatian vice cup winner in the 2006/07 season (0: 1 and 1: 1 against Dinamo Zagreb ). At the beginning of December, the German Bundesliga club Energie Cottbus announced the commitment of the central defender for the second half of the 2007/08 season. There he played 42 first division games before moving to Gençlerbirliği Ankara in August 2009. He has been under contract with Medical Park Antalyaspor since the 2010/2011 season. In 2015 his career ended with RNK Split in Croatia.
National team
Radeljić was first appointed in March 2007 for the European Championship qualifier against Norway in the squad of the national team of Bosnia-Herzegovina . He came in the game in the 47th minute as a substitute for Safet Nadarević . The international match was also the first game under coach Fuad Muzurović . By the beginning of December 2007 Radeljić came on six missions in the national team.
