Ivan Andrejewitsch Sosonow ( Russian Иван Андреевич Созонов , English transcription Ivan Sozonov ; born July 6, 1989 in Sverdlovsk , Russian SFSR , USSR ) is a Russian badminton player .

Career

Ivan Sosonov won four junior titles in Russia in 2006 and 2007. In 2009 he won the Russia Open in men's doubles and in 2010 the Polish Open in the same discipline. In 2010 he also won the men's individual competition at the St. Petersburg White Nights, as well as at the Kharkov International . In 2009, 2010 and 2011 he took part in the Badminton World Championships. In 2012, he and his partner Vladimir Ivanov won the men's doubles at the Polish International and the Russia Open . He also won the silver medal in men's doubles at the 2015 European Games with Ivanov .
