Ivo Deković

Ivo Deković (born May 14, 1952 in Šibenik , Yugoslavia , today Croatia ) is a German-Croatian artist. He attended the Naval School in Split from 1966 to 1970 and studied at the University of Fine Arts in Novi Sad from 1972 to 1974 . From 1975 to 1979 he continued his studies at the State Academy in Düsseldorf with Klaus Rinke and Nam June Paik . In 1984 he received a teaching position at the FH Aachen in the design department. He has held a professorship there since 1989. In 1996 the experimental water project Sub-Art was founded at the FH Aachen.
