Ivo Fischer (born December 25, 1881 in Mömbris , Bavaria , † April 28, 1937 in Würzburg ) was a German Roman Catholic cathedral capitular in the diocese of Würzburg .

Domkapitular Ivo Fischer was born as the sixth child of the married couple Konrad and Dorothea Fischer. Mark born. He was an uncle of Father Ivo Zeiger SJ . After studying theology, he was ordained a priest in Würzburg in 1907. From 1909 he worked as a chaplain in the cathedral parish of Würzburg . From 1914 he worked as secretary to the Würzburg bishops Ferdinand von Schlör and Matthias Ehrenfried , and as cathedral vicar. From 1928 until his death he was a cathedral chapter member of the cathedral chapter in Würzburg. In 1931 he donated a church bell to his home parish Mömbris, which was consecrated to St. Valentine on August 23, 1931. This bell was confiscated by the Nazi rulers, melted down and sacrificed for the armaments industry in World War II . In addition to pastoral duties, Cathedral Chapter Ivo Zeiger performed numerous other tasks, e. B. he headed the art department in the episcopal ordinariate and looked after the diocesan archive of Würzburg . In 1932 he was a founding member and first chairman of the Würzburg Diocesan History Association.
