Ivo Welch
Ivo Welch (born October 4, 1963 in Schweinfurt ) is a German - American economist .
Welch has been a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) since 2011 , where he taught from 1998 to 2001. Before his last appointment to UCLA, he was Professor at Brown University from 2004 to 2011 and at Yale University from 2000 to 2005 .
In 2006, the Web of Science ranked him 54th among the most cited economists. A year later, he took 57th place in this ranking.
