Ivan Dimov
Ivan Gospodinow Dimow ( Bulgarian Иван Господинов Димов ; born January 14, 1897 in Chirpan , † April 1, 1965 in Plovdiv ) was a Bulgarian actor .
Life
Dimov was one of the most famous actors in Bulgaria. His training took place at the National Theater in Sofia , where he played from 1922 to 1961. His most important roles were Hamlet , Chlestakow in Der Revisor , Kretschet in The Surgeon and Andrei in Borjana . In addition to his theater engagement, he also worked as a film actor.
He was awarded the Dimitrov Prize.
