Ivan Ivanovich Kryzhanovsky

Ivan Ivanovich Krizhanovsky ( Russian Иван Иванович Крыжановский ; born January 9 . Jul / 21st January  1867 greg. In Kiev ; † 9. December 1924 in Leningrad ) was a Russian composer.

In addition to studying medicine, Kryschanowski completed musical training with Otakar Ševčík and Nikolai Rimski-Korsakow . In 1923 he became a professor at the Moscow Conservatory . He composed two symphonic poems, an organ and a cello suite, a piano trio, violin and piano works as well as songs.
