IZA (2019)

Isabela Cristina Correia de Lima Lima (born September 3, 1990 in Rio de Janeiro ), known by her stage name IZA , is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and dancer. She gained popularity through her YouTube channel and her presence on Spotify and SoundCloud , where she published covers of popular musicians such as Beyoncé , Rihanna and Sam Smith . Her debut album Dona de Mim was released in 2018 and was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in the category "Best Portuguese Language Contemporary Pop Album".

biography

Iza was born in Rio de Janeiro. When she was 6 years old, her family moved to Natal, Brazil , where she began performing and singing at family gatherings and church. When she was 18, she returned to Rio and earned a degree in marketing . A little later she started her YouTube channel.

In 2016 Iza got a contract with Warner Music Brasil . After a few singles, her debut album Dona de Mim came out in April 2018 .

In December 2018, Iza married the music producer Sérgio Santos.
