The Jàk Territorial Park is a provincial park in the northwest of the Canadian Northwest Territory . Unlike most of the other Canadian provinces, the provincial parks in the Northwest Territory are called Territorial Parks . It lies north of the Arctic Circle and is, after the Happy Valley Territorial Park , which is only slightly to the north , the northernmost of the Territorial Parks in the Northwest Territories. Only these two territorial parks are so far north of the territory.

The park is located in the delta of the Mackenzie River , south of Inuvik on the Dempster Highway (Northwest Territories Highway 8) to Fort McPherson and Dawson . To the west of the park are the Richardson Mountains .

The park has 36 parking spaces (some of which can be reserved) for mobile homes and tents and has sanitary facilities with showers. The park also has a so-called day use area .
