János Bédl

János Bédl [ ˈjaːnoʃ ˈbeːdl ] (born September 10, 1929 , †  December 9, 1987 in Essen ) was a Hungarian football coach .

His first coaching position in paid football in Germany was Rot-Weiss Essen , which he took over in the current 1971/1972 season when he was relegated from the Bundesliga. In 1973 he took over Borussia Dortmund , but was dismissed shortly before the end of the season when the goal of re- promotion to the Bundesliga was missed. In autumn 1974 he came to Wuppertaler SV , but could no longer prevent his relegation from the Bundesliga.

In the 1980s Bedl trained in the 2. Bundesliga again Rot-Weiss Essen (1983) and Rot-Weiß Oberhausen (1986/87).
