János Count Esterházy de Galántha

János Graf Esterházy de Galántha (born May 21, 1951 in Ering ) is a German lawyer . He is Honorary and Devotion Grand Cross Bailli in Obedienz . He has been the Order's receptor since 2014 .

Life

After graduating from the St. Blasien college , he studied at the School of International Management at Golden Gate University ( MBA ), at the School of Law at the University of Virginia ( LLM ) and law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich with a final admission as Lawyer . From 1994 to 2003, the married father of two children was a member of the Board of Directors of AmCham Germany and a founding member of the Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker Society. From 1985 to 2011 he worked in various management positions in a multinational company and from 2012 as a partner in an international legal advisory firm with offices in Germany and Switzerland.

In 1983 he was inducted into the Order of Malta and in 2014 he was knighted as oboe. From 1997 to 2000 he worked in the first aid corps of the German Association ( Malteser Hilfsdienst - MHD) and from 2009 to 2011 in the accounting chamber . From 2011 to 2014 he was Secretary General of the Joint Treasury and since 2011 Commissioner of the Italian Association. From the General Chapter 2014, he was elected the Common Treasure in the Office of the receptor.
