Jász-Plasztik is a Hungarian plastics processor as well as battery and tool manufacturer with a total of 2,700 employees. The company was founded in 1990 by Lajos and János Kasza.

Jász-Plasztik produces injection molds and EPS molds as well as plastering material, packaging materials and plastic parts. Customers include companies such as Electrolux , Samsung , Jabil and VW .

history

Lajos Kasza had built an injection molding machine himself in 1987. After the company was officially founded, he bought a used KuASY machine from the Lehel refrigerator factory . Up to 1994 battery housings were produced with 11 injection molding machines. When the customer, a state-owned battery factory, got into trouble, it was taken over in 1995.

After purchasing several Engel injection molding machines in 1997, Jász-Plasztik started manufacturing housings for televisions and white goods . In 2008 these accounted for around 90% of sales.
