Jérôme Cyrill Kym (born February 12, 2003 ) is a Swiss tennis player .

Career

Jérôme Kym won bronze at the U18 European Championships in Moscow in July 2018. At the Swiss Elite Championships, he defeated the Davis Cup player Marc-Andrea Hüsler in the semifinals and reached the final, which he lost to Henri Laaksonen . On February 2, 2019, Kym and Laaksonen won doubles at the age of 15 in Switzerland's Davis Cup match against Russians Yevgeny Donskoi and Andrei Rublev . He replaced Heinz Günthardt as the youngest Swiss Davis Cup player. A week later he played his first match on the ITF Future Tour thanks to a wildcard in Oberentfelden . Most of the time, however, Kym plays tournaments on the ITF Junior Tour, on which he is currently ranked 139th.
