Jérôme Lambert

Jérôme Lambert (born June 7, 1957 in Vincennes ) is a French politician . He was from 1986 to 1993 and has been a member of the National Assembly since 1997 .

Lambert worked in industry before he successfully applied for a seat in the National Assembly in 1986 at the age of 28 in the Charente department . When majority voting was introduced in 1988 , he entered the third constituency of the department and was re-elected. In the parliamentary elections in 1993, however, he had to admit defeat to the Gaullist Henri de Richemont in the second ballot with 49.5% . In 1997 he returned to parliament with 56.4%. He was also re-elected in 2002, 2007 and 2012. In the run-up to the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen on December 1, 2009, Lambert made a joint appeal with the conservative Bernard Deflesselles for an expansion of climate protection. In response to the behavior of Gérard Depardieu , who left France to avoid the tax on the wealthy, Chabert requested the confiscation of Depardieu's property in December 2012.
