Bernard Deflesselles

Bernard Deflesselles (born October 16, 1953 in Paris ) is a French politician . He has been a member of the National Assembly since 1999 .

After studying law and economics, Deflesselles worked as an engineer at IBM . In 1992 he moved to the regional council and was also a local councilor for Aubagne from 1995 to 2001. After the 1999 election of the communist Alain Belviso in the 9th constituency of the Bouches-du-Rhône département was declared invalid from the previous year, Deflesselles successfully applied for the mandate. He was re-elected in 2002, 2007 and 2012. He is a member of the UMP , which was founded in 2002 . In the run-up to the UN climate conference in Copenhagen, Deflesselles campaigned on December 1, 2009 in a joint appeal with the socialist Jérôme Lambert for an expansion of climate protection.
