Józef Damse (also: Dampse , born January 26, 1789 in Sokołów ; † December 15, 1852 in Rudno near Warsaw ) was a Polish composer. Damse lived as a clarinetist and composer in Warsaw. He composed operas and melodramas, two ballets , two masses , dances and songs .
