József Misnay

József Misnay also József Misznay (born August 13, 1904 in Budafok ; † November 16 (?) 1968 in Tiszafüred ) was a Hungarian officer and ballistician .

During the Second World War, Misnay researched together with the German ballistician Hubert Schardin on a more effective anti-tank mine, for which they examined the directivity of plate-shaped explosives. This effect is called the Misznay-Schardin effect .
