Tiszafüred is a town in the small area of Tiszafüred in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County in eastern Hungary . Tiszafüred is the administrative center of the small area. The city lies on the banks of the Tisza , the longest tributary of the Danube at 1,308 km .

Tiszafüred has a train station on the Füzesabony - Debrecen railway line . Regional trains run on this route every two hours. This also crosses Lake Tisza .
