Tiszafüred small area

The small area Tiszafüred ( Hungarian Tiszafüredi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) in the northeast of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county in the Northern Great Plain until the end of 2012 . At the beginning of 2013, as part of the administrative reform, 7 of the 13 localities (with a total of 19,895 Ew.) In the following district Tiszafüred (Hungarian Tiszafüredi járás ). The other 6 localities (with a total of 18,339 Ew.) Came in the newly created district Kunhegyes .

At the end of 2012, 38,234 people lived in an area of ​​846.59 km². The population density was 45 inhabitants / km² below that of the county.

The administrative seat was in the city of Tiszafüred (11,616 Ew.). Kunhegyes (7,748 Ew.) And Abádszalók (4,328 Ew.) Also had city rights. The 10 municipalities (Hungarian község ) had an average population of 1,454 inhabitants (each 40.33 km² area).
