Jônatas Domingos (born July 29, 1982 in Fortaleza ) is a Brazilian soccer player who is under contract with Espanyol Barcelona in the Spanish Primera División , and is currently on loan to Flamengo Rio de Janeiro .
The Brazilian Jônatas comes from the youth of Flamengo Rio de Janeiro , for whose first team he played from 2002 to 2006. With this team he also won his only major title so far - the Copa do Brasil - the Brazilian Cup competition.
After over 100 league games in which he was able to convince, he moved to Europe to Espanyol Barcelona in the summer of 2006 . In the following 18 months, however, he did not succeed in getting beyond the status of a substitute, so that the management of Espanyol decided to loan him to his hometown club Flamengo Rio de Janeiro in 2008 in order to build on old performances.
