Jörg Berger (psychologist)

Jörg Berger (* 1970 ) is a German psychologist , psychotherapist , couples therapist and author .

Live and act

Jörg Berger studied psychology at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg between 1991 and 1998 and completed a clinical year at the Psychiatric University Hospital in Heidelberg in 1999/2000. He then worked as a qualified psychologist and psychological psychotherapist at the Hohe Mark Clinic in Oberursel (Taunus) . He completed his part-time training as a psychological psychotherapist (behavioral therapy) in 2003. Since 2010 he has been working as a psychotherapist and couples therapist in his own practice in Heidelberg .

He is a freelance member of the editorial board of Family magazine . He has a teaching position at the Evangelical University of Tabor in the master’s course "Religion and Psychotherapy" and lecturer at the "Academy for Psychotherapy and Pastoral Care eV". As a non-fiction author and speaker, his topics revolve around couple relationships, interpersonal relationships and the meaning of life.

Berger has been married since 1998 and has two children with his wife Myriam.
