Jörg Knoblauch

Jörg Knoblauch (born August 31, 1949 in Giengen ) is a German entrepreneur , book author and developer of the tempus schedule system.

Career

Knoblauch completed an engineering degree , a degree in business administration in the USA ( Master of Business Administration - MBA) and was awarded a doctorate in 1981 at the University of Innsbruck with a dissertation "Criteria for decision-making when choosing a location for medium-sized German industrial companies in the USA". rer. soc. oec. PhD.

Knoblauch joined his father's craft business in 1976 before founding the company tempus in 1987 in order to establish "the Christian variant of a time planner". As an avowed Christian , he is also a board member of the international "Fellowship of Companies for Christ International" (FCCI) and initiator of the " Congress of Christian Leaders ". Knoblauch is a member of the board of trustees of the Christian Publicists' Working Group . He is involved in the Association for Community Development (AGGA), the Willow Creek Movement and the Hour of Power television services , which he chaired the German branch until 2001. In 1996 he played a key role in founding Württemberg's first staff community, Oase, in his hometown of Giengen.

In 2002 he was appointed honorary professor by the Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Economics and Environment .
