Jörg Lipinski (born October 31, 1967 in Herne ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

In his youth Jörg Lipinski played for BV Herne-Süd and Westfalia Herne . There he made the leap into the Herner Oberliga team and later moved within the league to ASC Schöppingen . Lipinski began his professional career at Rot-Weiss Essen . In 1992 he won the German Amateur Championship with the Red and White . In the 1992/93 season he was with RWE champions of the Oberliga Nordrhein and rose to the second Bundesliga. In 1994 he then moved to SC Fortuna Köln , in 1997 to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , before moving back to Essen for a year in 2002. Via 1. FC Kleve , Lipinski moved to TuRU Düsseldorf , where he ended his career.

His greatest success was reaching the 1994 DFB Cup final with Rot-Weiss Essen.

Jörg Lipinski has played 237 games in the second division and scored 33 goals.

From 2010 to 2012 Jörg Lipinski was the coach of the first men's team at SGS Essen in the regional league.
