Jörg Sauerland (born December 24, 1976 in Dortmund ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Sauerland began playing football at the Dortmund district club SC Aplerbeck 09 before joining the youth team at Borussia Dortmund in 1989 . There he signed his first professional contract in 1997. After a year in the Bundesliga he played for the amateur team until he finally moved to KFC Uerdingen 05 in the regional league.
In 2004 Sauerland turned his back on the KFC and finally signed with the district league club ASC 09 Dortmund with intermediate stops in Emden and Hagen , with whom he made it through to the Westphalia league .
