Jörg Sohst

Jörg Sohst (born December 15, 1946 in Hanover ) is a former German officer and active local politician ( CDU ).

Sohst last held the rank of brigadier general . From 2002 to 2004 he was deputy commander of the 1st Air Force Division . He was Deputy Head of Office , General Development Armed Forces Base and Head of Specialist Departments in the Armed Forces Office until he retired on April 1, 2007.

He is currently active as a local politician in the Lüneburg district for the CDU. He is chairman of the CDU local branch in Bleckede .

He is married and has two daughters.
