The Armed Forces Office ( SKA ; until April 1, 1975 Bundeswehramt ) is an agency of the Bundeswehr based in the Federal City of Bonn . It is a division-level command authority and is directly subordinate to the Inspector of the Armed Forces Base. It is run by the head of office, a major general or rear admiral .

As part of the realignment of the Bundeswehr , the Armed Forces Office was placed under the Armed Forces Command in Bonn in 2013 . In the course of this change of subordination, some departments that were still subordinate to the Armed Forces Office are subordinated to other capability commands of the armed forces base.
