Life

His service with the Bundeswehr began in 1973 with the 305 tank artillery battalion in Donauwörth . Later he was u. a. Scandal Franco A.

As head of the SKA office, Weisenburger was the superior of Lieutenant Franco A., who in 2013 had submitted a master's thesis at the Saint-Cyr Military Academy with völkisch-nationalist, racist and anti-Semitic passages. As part of the disciplinary appraisal , Weisenburger refrained from taking any disciplinary action and merely instructed Franco A. in writing. This became known through the terror investigations against Bundeswehr soldiers from 2017 . Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen then initiated disciplinary proceedings against Weisenburger. The formal disciplinary proceedings were initiated on May 16, 2017 on suspicion of a breach of duty against him and the legal advisor of the SKA, Stephan Hedrich. He was invited as head of the SKA office at the general meeting of the Minister in Berlin in May 2017, but was dismissed shortly beforehand without giving any reason.

Rehabilitation

Weisenburger received a registered letter on December 30, 2017, in camera, that the investigation against him had been closed. Inspector General Volker Wieker also informed him: A culpable violation of official duties could not be determined . Stephan Hedrich was also rehabilitated.

In the course of Franco A.'s master's thesis, which was scientifically classified as racist, he had further investigations stopped. Weisenburger has ended the required disciplinary proceedings. "
