Franz Weidhüner

Franz Weidhüner, Head of the Armed Forces Office

Franz Weidhüner (born October 4, 1958 in Varel ) is a German major general in the Air Force and has been Head of the Armed Forces Office in Bonn since December 15, 2017 .

Weidhüner graduated from the Lothar-Meyer-Gymnasium in Varel. He began his military career in 1975 and before he was employed as head of the office, he was a subdivision manager in personnel development at the Federal Ministry of Defense . In his current position , he followed Werner Weisenburger , who was retiring. Until its dissolution at the end of 2012, Weidhüner was the last commander of the Bundeswehr logistics office and then until 2015 the commander of the Bundeswehr logistics school .

Weidhüner has completed two assignments abroad so far.
