The origins of the school lie in Andernach , where it started work on July 1, 1956 as a school for quartermaster troops. After a three-year development phase, it was relocated to Bremen-Grohn , initially as the Bremen Technical School and, after several name changes, as the Army Supply School. In the period from 1993 to the end of 2000, it was relocated to the Lucius D. Clay barracks in Garlstedt, Lower Saxony. On October 1, 2006, the Army Supply School was decommissioned and the Bundeswehr logistics school was put into service. On the occasion of an appeal on July 12, 2018, the area of motor vehicle training centers was subordinated to the Bundeswehr Motor Vehicle Center (ZKfWBw) in Mönchengladbach and dissolved with effect from September 30, 2018.
