The Bremen State Command ( LKdo HB ) has been the territorial command authority of the Bundeswehr in Bremen since 2007 . The state command is subordinate to the Territorial Tasks Command of the Federal Armed Forces in Berlin and the first point of contact for the Senate of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen within the framework of civil-military cooperation . Until 2013 it was subordinate to the Military District Command I “Coast”.

The command, based in the Scharnhorst barracks in Bremen- Huckelriede , has all the necessary command areas .

  • The state command leads the district liaison command (KVK) in Bremerhaven , which is manned exclusively with reservists and advises its civilian counterparts there. This is used to plan, prepare and coordinate official and disaster aid .

  • Maintains contact with the Federal Armed Forces commissioner for civil-military cooperation in the neighboring districts / independent cities.
  • It is responsible for the troop service management of the subordinate small offices. (Family care centers Delmenhorst and Wilhelmshaven).
