The Hamburg State Command ( LKdo HH ) has been the highest territorial command authority of the Bundeswehr in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg since 2007 . It is subordinate to the Territorial Tasks Command (Berlin) and the primary contact for the Hamburg Senates in the context of civil-military cooperation . Until 2013 it was subordinate to the Military District Command I “Coast” . The technical training of the personnel is largely carried out by the Multinational Civil-Military Cooperation Command (MN CIMIC Cmd), which also assigns personnel.

assignment

The command based in the Reichspräsident-Ebert-Kaserne in Hamburg-Iserbrook has the following tasks:

  • It summarizes support requirements, evaluates them and submits them to the Bundeswehr Territorial Tasks Command.
  • The Hamburg Regional Security and Support Company reports to him .
  • It prepares the admission and deployment of the armed forces in coordination with the responsible civilian disaster control team and coordinates their deployment according to the specifications and priorities of the civilian side and thus has a military picture of the deployed and still available armed forces.
  • Coordination of Host Nation Support in accordance with the NATO troop statute in the Hanseatic city. A regular focus here is the Hamburg port birthday .
  • It is responsible for voluntary reservist work and the training of reservists.
  • Coordination of the press / public relations work of the Bundeswehr of the individual armed forces (TSK) and organizational areas, as well as the defense administrations and the armaments area in the state.
  • Advising the exercising troops on country-specific environmental protection issues.
  • Troop service management of subordinate small offices such as the sports promotion groups in Appen ( Marseille-Kaserne ), the sports teacher in the state, and a few more.
  • Performing the duties of the site elder .
