The state command of North Rhine-Westphalia ( LKdo NW ) is the highest territorial command authority of the Bundeswehr in this state. It is subordinate to the Territorial Tasks Command (Berlin) and the primary contact for the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia within the framework of civil-military cooperation . Until 2013, the command set up in 2007 was subordinate to the Military District Command II . The technical training of the personnel is largely carried out by the Multinational CIMIC Command (MN CIMIC CMD), which also assigns personnel.
