Helmut Bapistella (* 4. March 1918 , † 1993 ) was a German brigadier general of the Air Force of the Armed Forces .

Life

Bapistella completed an officer training in the air force of the Wehrmacht and was promoted to lieutenant on August 10, 1942 . During the Second World War , he was awarded the German Cross in Gold on August 31, 1943 as First Lieutenant of the 11th (H) Squadron of Reconnaissance Group 13 .
