The command staff of the Air Force (feet L) was from 1 June 1957 to 30 March 2012, a department of the German Federal Ministry of Defense (MoD) service located on the Hardthöhe in Bonn . At the same time, he was responsible for commanding the air force . After its dissolution, its tasks were transferred to the newly established command authorities; a small part of them remained in the BMVg.
