Jörg Strehlow

Jörg Strehlow (* 1970 in Worms ) is a German author, journalist, professional angler and fishing instructor. Strehlow lives in Hamburg, his company address is in Bleckede in Lower Saxony .

Life

Strehlow attended the Gauß-Gymnasium Worms . After graduating from high school in 1991, he did his military service in Diez . During this time he was already working as a freelance journalist specializing in fishing and waters.

In 1986 Strehlow began to write his own fishing reports for the AnglerKurier, the company magazine of the fishing tackle manufacturer Balzer, and the AngelWoche from the Jahr-Top-Special-Verlag (then Jahr-Verlag) in Hamburg. In 1992, the collaboration with the Hamburg publishing house intensified and Strehlow published his first specialist articles as a fishing expert for the specialist magazine Blinker .

From September 1993, Strehlow volunteered at Blinker and in 1995 became a trade magazine editor. Several hundred specialist articles and numerous book projects have now been published by Jörg Strehlow. His exclusive journalistic commitment to Blinker ended after almost 20 years in January 2010. Since then, Strehlow has worked as a freelance journalist, consultant and fishing instructor in the industry.

In addition to his work at the fishing magazine, he worked as a book author and wrote the book "Zander fishing". In 2010 the first edition of the second book "Raubfisch 1 mal 1" was published. He also worked for the then pay TV broadcaster Seasons and as a fishing expert on the fishing program Fish 'n Fun on the television channel DMAX .
