Jörg Zeller

Jörg Rudolf Georg Zeller (born February 28, 1971 in Koblenz ) is a German university professor , lawyer and industrial engineer from Koblenz who mainly deals with construction law and architectural law.

Life

He passed his Abitur in 1990 at the Görres-Gymnasium in Koblenz. From 1990 to 1992 he studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg , where he also passed the first state examination in law after eight semesters in 1994 (after moving to the University of Cologne from 1992 to 1993).

Zeller completed his legal traineeship from 1994 to 1996 at the Higher Regional Court of Koblenz (Rhineland-Palatinate), where he also passed his second state examination in 1996 with distinction.

After his legal clerkship, Zeller initially worked as a lawyer in the law firms of Dr. Caspers Mock & Partner, Koblenz (1996 to 1997) and Walek Dittmann Hartmann Barg (1997 to 1998) before setting up his own office in 1998 with the Zeller Nitschke Schwarzburg law firm in Koblenz. From a merger of this law firm in 2006 with the law firm Neuhaus Massenkeil Conradi & Partner, the law firm Neuhaus Massenkeil Zeller und Partner, Koblenz, was created in 2006.

In 2006 the Koblenz Bar Association awarded him the title “ Specialist lawyer for building and architectural law ” on the basis of his special theoretical and practical experience and knowledge.

While working, Zeller did his doctorate at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg under Olaf Miehe in the years 2000–2007 on the subject of "Dogmatic and empirical studies on the practice of hiring public prosecutors in narcotics criminal law".

From 2009 to 2012, he also completed an additional course of study at the University of Kaiserslautern , which he graduated as Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. (FH) graduated.

In 2012, Zeller was appointed professor at the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences (Faculty of Building and Design; Civil Engineering course) for the subjects of construction law, architectural law and commercial law. There he teaches private construction law, public construction law, architectural law, procurement law and legal theory for prospective civil engineers and architects in the bachelor's and master's degree courses.

In 2014 Zeller left the Neuhaus Massenkeil Zeller und Partner law firm, whose partner and namesake he was from 2006–2014, and has since worked as a lawyer in his own law firm for building and architecture law in Koblenz in addition to his work as a university lecturer.
